The CRC Exam is an exam administered by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification, the CRCC. This exam allows you to become a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. According to the CRCC, “for those pursuing the highest level of post-graduate credentialing in rehabilitation counseling, CRC certification is the gold standard. CRCs are highly sought-after rehabilitation counseling experts.”
What’s on the CRC Exam?
The exam is divided in two (2) sections: Rehabilitation and Disability & Counseling. It consists of a total of 175 multiple-choice questions. You can find a detailed list of the exam subject material on the CRCC website.
How long is the crc exam?
This exam is given over 3.5 hours, but according to the CRCC, you should give yourself 4 hours for the exam itself - there is a check-in, a tutorial, an a post-exam survey. There no break during the exam.
How Many times can you take the crc exam?
You want to prepare yourself well for the CRC exam, because you can only take it a total of three times. The better prepared you are, the higher your chance of passing the first or second time.
How long does it take to get CRCC Exam Results?
Good news: you don’t have to wait very long for exam results. You’ll know whether you passed or failed your exam at the test site on the day of the exam. You’ll get official exam results by mail approximately four weeks after the last date in the testing window.
